Nobel Peace Prize

"President Barack Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday in a stunning decision designed to encourage his initiatives to reduce nuclear arms, ease tensions with the Muslim world and stress diplomacy and cooperation rather than unilateralism"

"In his 1895 will, Alfred Nobel stipulated that the peace prize should go "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations and the abolition or reduction of standing armies and the formation and spreading of peace congresses."

I don't often express my opinion on politics, prefering to keep my opinions to myself. But.... I couldn't pass on this one. Has he really done anything yet to deserve such an honor? Maybe one day, but not yet.

Unless you count kissing the asses of every whack job dictator in the world, while apologizing for every sin of the United States, both real and imagined, as an accomplishment, he hasn't done much in my opinion.

I have enough of all the Obama hero worship. Pretty soon we will have to modify our positions on separation of chuch and state when he is declared a deity.

This disgusts me too much to only leave one comment.

Iran has literally threatened to blow Israel off of the map meanwhile they continue to develop a nuclear bomb that would allow them to do so, the Taliban is about to claim Afghanistan, North Korea is lobbing bombs towards Japan and our west coast, and he gets the Nobel Peace Prize after 9 freaking months in office.

The entire world, lead by the loony left in our country, has gone completely mad.

Meanwhile, Drew and I try to pursuade our small circle of influence with our tiny blogs. It's an impossible task and we, the U.S. deserve everything this ... guy heaves on us. I only hope we wake up before the 2010/2012 elections, but I'm not holding my breath.
